The main objective of the Torsion Controller is to reduce vibrations and ensure stable operation of the system at any rotational speed and at any operating temperature. To achieve this result, all existing solutions on the market have been considered, but only the Torsion Controller has managed to pass all theoretical and practical tests.
The component solves two common problems. The first concerns the excursion of the shift curve, in which the bushing of the movable pulley slides along the hub of the fixed pulley and creates torsion in the counter spring. In some cases, the spring may lose its position and rub against the mass carrier plate, while in other cases it remains integral with it, generating randomly different counter forces. The Torsion Controller effectively solves this problem, ensuring a stable position of the spring and preventing unwanted friction.
The second problem concerns the centrifugal forces that develop at high rotational speeds. These forces can deform the spring and cause annoying vibrations for the rider or damaging vibrations for the engine, making the shift curve inconsistent. The Torsion Controller has been designed to withstand these forces and ensure stable operation even at the highest speeds.
