Internal Rotor Ignition Derbi + CDI Reprogramming Kit
The Stage6 R/T internal rotor ignition PVL is getting an upgrade! The new Stage6 R/T MK 2 internal rotor ignition for 50cc bikes with Derbi engine (Derbi Senda, Aprilia SX, Gilera SMT, and others) now features a freely programmable control unit that allows you to adapt the ignition curve to the configuration and preferences of the engine.
Optional Mapping Programming
If you do not want (or cannot) program the control unit, no problem! The included control unit is already loaded with the latest MK2 ignition curves. This means that the ignition is plug & play without having to use the programming function if you do not wish to.
- Option 1: Do not connect the green wire to ground: Curve with less advance → track racing
- Option 2: Connect the green wire to ground: Curve with more advance → acceleration races
- Option 3: Program the ignition curve yourself. To program the CDI, special software and the Stage6 R/T interface code S6-45ET017 are required.
If you want greater potential for high revs, you can install a weight plate on the ignition rotor. This modification increases inertia at high RPM.

As with the previous model, PVL provides the extremely tested and reliable hardware, while Stage6 contributes the software, namely the two ignition curves, based on the experience of thousands of bench tests and years on the track in the most prestigious competitions.

Notes and Recommendations for Stage6 R/T Ignition:
- The Stage6 R/T MK2 ignition is a racing ignition, therefore power supply for lights/water pump is not provided. A battery is required to power the electrical system.
Cannot be used in combination with Malossi MHR Team crankshafts.
- It is recommended to use a racing spark plug and kill switch.
- Ensure there is a ground wire between the engine casing and the frame!
Programming Software for Stage6 R/T Ignition
Software and hardware for programming the Stage6 R/T internal rotor ignition.
The Stage6 R/T ignition comes with a CDI with 2 pre-programmed ignition curves. If you want to take it a step further, you can adapt the mappings to your individual configuration using this software.
Interface and Compatibility
The supply includes the necessary hardware interface and the software in German and English versions.
The software is compatible with Windows 10, and detailed installation and application instructions are included on the USB stick.
