Internal Rotor Ignition AM6 + CDI Reprogramming Kit
The Stage6 R/T internal rotor PVL ignition has been updated! The new Stage6 R/T MK 2 internal rotor ignition for 50cc bikes with Minarelli AM6 engines (Rieju MRT, Beta RR, Sherco 50, Yamaha DT50, and others) now features a freely programmable control unit that allows you to adjust the ignition curve to the engine's configuration and preferences.
Optional Mapping Programming
If you do not want (or cannot) program the control unit, no problem! The included control unit is already loaded with the latest MK2 ignition curves. This means the ignition is plug & play without needing to use the programming function unless desired.
- Option 1: Do not connect the green wire to ground: Curve with less advance → track racing
- Option 2: Connect the green wire to ground: Curve with more advance → acceleration races
- Option 3: Program the ignition curve yourself. To program the CDI, special software and the Stage6 R/T interface with code S6-45ET017 are required.
If you want more top-end potential, you can install a weighting disc on the ignition rotor. This modification increases inertia at high RPMs.

Notes and Recommendations for the Stage6 R/T Ignition:
- The Stage6 R/T MK2 ignition is a racing ignition, therefore it does not provide power for lights/water pump. A battery is required to power the electrical system.
- It cannot be used in combination with Malossi MHR Team crankshafts.
- It is recommended to use a racing spark plug and kill switch.
- Ensure there is a ground wire between the engine casing and the frame!
Included Programming Software for Stage6 R/T Ignition
Programming software and hardware for the Stage6 R/T internal rotor ignition.
The Stage6 R/T ignition comes with a CDI featuring 2 pre-programmed ignition curves. If you want to take it a step further, you can adjust the mappings to your individual configuration using this software.
Interface and Compatibility
The supply includes the necessary hardware interface and the software in both German and English versions.
The software is compatible with Windows 10, and detailed installation and application instructions are included on the USB stick.
