The Malossi secondary gear wheel is a high-quality product designed to offer optimal performance. Made with special case-hardening steel, this gear wheel is resistant and durable over time. Thanks to CNC machining and grinding of the contact surfaces, the gears ensure optimal lubrication thanks to the small pockets that carry the oil.
The number of teeth has been carefully calculated to guarantee an optimized transmission ratio. In addition, lightening holes have been made in all the gears, except in the contact area with the cross, to avoid breaking points.
The Malossi gear wheels have the same number of teeth as the original ones and the same engagement between the gears. The toothed band has been moved to optimize the engagement with the primary shaft. The position of the driving tooth with the cross and the spaces between the shifts remain unchanged.
These gear wheels can be easily mounted as replacements for the Piaggio gear wheels on the original shaft.
