The new and improved MK2 version of the Stage6 R/T Racing brake caliper. German engineering meets maximum braking performance. Available in orange, black, and hard anodized (extra scratch-resistant).

Improvements of the MK2 Caliper

The main goal in developing the new Stage6 R/T MK2 caliper was to increase stiffness and optimize smoothness. Additionally, usability has been significantly enhanced with the integration of a dedicated bleed screw, making brake bleeding a breeze. This way, the bleeding process becomes a walk in the park! Finally, as if that weren't enough, the new design features a friction surface that is 20% wider.

Upon close examination of the MK2 caliper, it is evident that Stage6 has developed a special return spring that brings the pistons back to their resting position immediately after braking. The result is maximum wheel freedom in all circumstances.

The increased stiffness translates into a well-defined pressure point. Whether on the road or on the track, the caliper ensures even safer handling, and braking can be delayed until the last moment.

The caliper pairs perfectly with Stage6 R/T brake pumps S6-1400401 / S61400400, but can also be used with other aftermarket brake pumps or the original brake pump. The radial mounting of the brake caliper allows for easy and stable installation!

Note: In combination with older caliper adapters, slight modification of the adapter may be required due to the new shape of the caliper.

Technical specifications of the Stage6 MK2 4-Piston Caliper:

The brake caliper comes with street pads. However, it is recommended to use competition pads (sintered metal or ceramic) to achieve maximum braking performance. The difference with the optional pads is significant: You can expect an increase in braking power of up to 50%!

Tip: After bleeding, secure the brake lever with a zip tie and keep the circuit under pressure for 1-2 hours or simply overnight. This will allow you to perfect the bleeding process and significantly improve the pressure point.
