Stage6 R/T C4 Polymer Crankshaft Revision Kit for Peugeot Vertical AC LC
The Stage6 R/T HQ crankshaft bearing set, including polymer cage seals, is ideal for high-performance engines. The quality of the crankshaft bearings and seals is essential to ensure the proper functioning of the engine.
Stage6 has carefully selected top-quality bearings, pairing them with the new Stage6 orange FKM seals, which offer greater durability compared to previous seals. The main goal has been to reduce friction to improve engine performance.
The bearings are available in 2 versions: with an elastic polymer cage for racing (less friction) and with a robust metal cage for everyday road use. Both types are approved by SKF for a maximum speed of up to 20,000 RPM.
The polymer-plastic version offers greater elasticity and reduced friction, increasing the power output. A good adjustment of the carburetor and ignition is important to avoid damaging the plastic cage.
The kit includes 2 SKF C4 crankshaft bearings 20x52x12mm with a polymer cage and 2 FKM seals 20x30x5 (6.5) mm and 15.6x25.5x7mm. Note, for Peugeot Euro 1 models before 2004, install the version with the polymer cage only on engines without a catalytic converter.
