Fundamentally all oval shaped speedometers are interchangeable, due to the available space in the respective VESPA models steering/headlamp assembly being generally the same. To make your choice of speedometer slightly easier, we list each separate unit alongside the name of the VESPA model it was originally available with. Alongside the original PIAGGIO speedometers we also have a huge range of different shapes, sizes and colours that were never included in any VESPA model available from the factory in Pontedera. Differently coloured speed scale numbering and faces, including the PIAGGIO logo or the VEGLIA design, without logo, with 100 km/h or 120 km/h scaling, with a chromed mounting ring or even a transparent version. Almost all tastes are catered for. Unfortunately the metal-bodied original PIAGGIO speedometers for the VESPA Rally models are no longer available. To compensate for this deficit we can offer adequate replacements in the form of the PIAGGIO Vintage line including the VEGLIA BORLETTI logo and a 'plugged' speedometer drive cable. To make sure that you choose the correct speedometer to fit your particular VESPA model we always include the dimensions of the mounting ring in the specifications. Another important feature to be considered in your final choice is the type of speedometer drive cable connection as there are two versions available: One with a threaded 'screw on' connection, the other with a plugged connection. If the connection method of your new speedometer is different to your old one, do not forget to order the appropriate speedometer drive cable to fit. All speedometers, unless otherwise indicated, include a mounting for the speedometer lighting bulb and an electrical connection for the same.
