Spring Shock Absorber front for Vespa PK50-125/S/XL/XL2 for Vespa PK50-125/S/XL/XL2/ETS/Automatica, spring: black, Ø 44mm, l 185 mm, STANDARD chassis - likeoriginal The shock absorber is the central element of the chassis and a safety-relevant component. If it is either defective or if a shock absorber is used that does not correspond with the way of riding, this can lead to nasty surprises. Shock absorbers that are too soft can break easily or give you the fright of your life in curves or at high speeds. A brand new shock absorber isn't always necessary. If the shocks are still working perfectly well, replacing the shock absorber springs (that gradually wear out over the years) is sufficient. We stock springs for steering columns (for separate spring/shock systems) and for the original shock absorbers. The standard PIAGGIO springs and other manufactures are equivalent to those that were originally fitted. The Sport springs are stiffer and are suitable for riding with a pillion, touring or tuned scooters. The SIP springs are somewhere between the STO and the Standard springs. The STO springs are an especially good supplement to wide or largeframe models. The springs are mostly phosphated, zinc plated, painted or chrome-plated. Conclusion: Improves the suspension of the Sport version and is also easy on the wallet. SIP-TIP: On SIP spring part no 7007200 for the Vespa PK model, special adapter bushes are required which compensate the greater internal diameter of the springs. The best idea is to order both for the top and bottom at the same time (part no 17409000)! Replace the rubber mountings for shock absorbers at the same time! SIP Community User 'italena' on SIP spring, part no 71130000: 'Noticeably harder than the original spring, could still be harder, though. A solid product!' SIP Community User 'ThomasN' on SIP spring, art no. 17910900: 'If you change the rear spring, the Sito Plus doesn't scrape any more on bends if you're riding with a passenger'###198286(PIAGGIO)
