Exhaust ETS 'Banana', for Vespa PK50/S/SS/XL/XL2/XLS/HP Vespa PK50/S/SS/XL/XL2/XLS/HP/FL/N/Rush incl. exhaust manifold, incl.mounting bracket ROAD-TUNING, for everyday use& reliable Known in the scooter scene as 'small frame banana' exhaust, it's not only a regular standard exhaust, but is also a powerful racing exhaust. Originally this was built into the sporting Vespa models such as the SR 50 (75 km/h with only 50 cc's) or the SS 90 (over 90 km/h), and is known - like the T5 exhaust on large frames - as an all rounder with the rest of the family. The exhaust name comes from it's form: the left sided system is mounted parallel to the rear tire and peeps out under the left side of the Vespa rear. The divided manifold allows ideal installation and allows ease in changing tires or when servicing the engine. The banana doesn't just look good, it's inner qualities are remarkable: a wide range of performance, especially powerful in lower rpm ranges. A good system for low range tuned touring motors as well for tuning set ups beyond 125 cc's; for example, the banana harmonies perfectly with a 136er MALOSSI or the 133er POLINI and allows comfortable cruising with a passenger. The sound is decently soft. The ET3 Banana from FACO comes with the manifold and is available with either a black or chromed body. The chrome SS50/90 Banana is an attractive and well manufactured replica of the hot Super Sprint exhaust. Also available without elbow. These systems fit PK's with a few frame modifications. The ETS, the sportiest PK, was outfitted with a Banana. All Bananas are mounted without manifold. We have these items available as economically-priced reproductions, but the design of the manifold leaves a lot to be desired. In contrast, our very own SIP Road banana exhaust systems are manufactured to the highest standards, fit perfectly and noticeably expand the existing power band of your motor! They are compatible with virtually every Vespa smallframe model and in our humble view are also the finest banana-style exhaust systems currently available! Sport exhaust / steel / Left Hand Steel, part black paint, part chromes, exact fit, fits wide tires, depending on model with and without manifold / some with E number/E passJets and ignition should be checked and optimized. SIP TIP: carburetor jet adjustment is a must, 78/85 cc's tuning cylinder and SHB 19/19 carburetor as optional combination recommended. Tighten down the screw that holds the pipe, better yet, secure with LOCTITE 243 (art. no. 14100000).
