Racing Exhaust SIMONINI for Vespa 50/N/L/R/S/Special/SR/SS Vespa 50/N/L/R/S/Special/SR/SS steel, clear coated, aluminiumsilencer, left hand For race use only. Not admitted in the area of the German StVZO! For those fast Italian moments, SIMONINI has a selection of racing exhaust systems for smallframes. The SIMONINI Left Hand is a fine sport system for standard and tuning cylinders. As with most classical left hand systems, SIMONINI offers a wide power band and lots of torque. A perfect match for powerful cylinders. The galvanized elbow is comfortably spring hung, the silencer is removable. The SIMONINI Lefthand Evo is the successor of the legendary SIMONINI Down & Forward. The carbon-polyamide silencer turned in a slant toward the front out from under the floor board, giving the scooter a spectacular optic. Gives all 90-125 cc small frames an optical and performance wise hearty upgrade. With a modified Polini 166 or Malossi 136, the Down & Forward turns up the heat, making it an ideal racing system for highest speeds on long stretches. Weaker moments in lower rpm's can be balanced out with the right transmission. The SIMONINI 180° adds to this, not only visually. Power pure with even hotter timing as the Down & Forward, the 180º is not for weak nerves. In order to utilise the system, the cylinder has to be mounted reverse by 180º, which will put the exhaust towards the front. Reward here is improved flushing and exact movement of used gas. Several cylinders (for example, the 133er Polini DoA) are not exactly cut out for being reversed and you'll need heavy duty modifications to your chassis. Conclusion: The Italian answer to the PM40 and co. High end power system with great price/performance ratio. Racing exhaust / made of steel / aluminum or carbon-polyamide silencer / Left hand, down & forward or turned 180º Steel, clear paint, silencer made of aluminum or (down & forward models) carbon-polyamide, depending on design, galvanized manifold and spring attachment. Jets and ignition adjustment are a must. SIP TIP: 75-130 cc tuning cylinder, SHB 19-24 mm carburetor, longer transmission and reinforced clutch/PK XL clutch is recommended. A clean gear graduation with ZIRRI or DRT auxiliary shaft/gear is also a really good combination. SIP community user '321sultan (about art. no. 40300200): 'Cool sound and goes way out in higher ranges. At least 1000 rpm's more.: SIP community user 'real_himself' (about art. no. 40309000): 'This part is incredible! Takes my 136 Malle to the top of the class. No other part matches this in it's price class.' SIP community user 'tomnold' (about art. no. 15400000): ' I mounted this exhaust on my 133 Polini and boy does it move! The exhaust struts it stuff especially in the upper rpm range! The sound is both in lower and upper ranges music to my ears.'
