SERIE PRO – DSE The PX200 Hardcore exhaust is the next one in line to step up for the SERIE PRO series, a label that has become home to many awesome aftermarket parts from small tuning companies. Years ago, “DSE – Dirty South Engineering”, in cooperation with the SESC, has developed an exhaust for 200cc’s with or aiming towards 25hp. We are bringing this exhaust to you once more in a limited edition. Jim Lomas is manufacturing this exhaust now, handmade and with the perfect quality and finish that has come to charcaterize his products over the years. The SERIE PRO – DSE ranks among the most powerful exhausts for 200cc’s. He’s given some outstanding performances on the quartermile in 2006 (e.g. victory at Bremen, finish at 157 km/h!). The exhaust has a brutal peak power with an existing record on a 221cc MALOSSI of over 41hp at the rear wheel at the time. Of course, such a performance requires a corresponding peripheral set-up (large carb, large reed-valve) and a massive rework of the MALOSSI: long port timing (approx 130°/190° up to 130°/195°) and enlarged intake. “The know-how is there and proven, so unless your fingers are all thumbs, you will have an engine with 30+ hp at the rear wheel that is fully ready for street and touring use” according to Claus Bernecker, developer for the DSE team. Material steel / silencer stainless steel / left-hand Hand-welded from many segments, clear varnish, left-hand, wide-tire possible, engine set-up has to be modified. SIP-TIP: large manifold such as MBD/MMW and 32mm upwards – 35mm recommended – carburetor are mandatory. Reinforced Cosa clutch or MMW basket necessary. Reed valve/lip crankshaft, reinforced gearing, CDI ignition are reasonable supplements.
