A higher gear ratio will increase top speed. Only recommended for tuning / racing cylinders. OEM cylinders usually don't have enough power to pull this kind of transmission. Gear ratio: 13/40 (3.07) => +13.3% Shaft diameter = 17.7mm Note: Piaggio changed their transmissions in 1996. The intermediate shaft between primary and secondary shaft was 18.0mm before 1996 and was changed to 17.7mm after 1996. In case you're not certain - please check the measurements! This transmission is for models after 1996 with 17.7mm shaft.
