POLINI Teflon Oil Seal Gearbox

The POLINI Teflon seal for gearboxes represents an innovative solution to ensure maximum efficiency in moped and scooter engines. Made of FKM (fluorocarbon rubber), this seal is designed to withstand high thermal stress conditions, ensuring a perfect seal. The sealing lip is coated with PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), which not only increases durability compared to standard seals but also reduces the coefficient of friction, minimizing heat dissipation and maintaining lower operating temperatures.

These seals are fully interchangeable with the original versions and can be installed on both the crankshaft and the primary shafts of CVT transmissions. Initially developed for competition engines, they also adapt to standard engines, where the reduction of friction allows for higher rotational speeds, thus optimizing vehicle performance.
