The POLINI air filter is designed to provide superior performance for the most common 50 cc scooters and maxi scooters. Made from flexible polyester-based polyurethane foam, this filter consists of two layers of sponge: a fine blue layer with a porosity of 60 PPI and a more open black layer with a porosity of 30 PPI. This combination effectively filters out the smallest particles while maintaining its characteristics for a longer time, as larger particles do not come into contact with the fine layer.

The wavy outer surface of the filter promotes increased airflow while retaining 50% more coarse dust. Its efficiency complies with European Standards EN779 of grade G3-G4, with a weight efficiency of over 90% and an effectiveness of over 50% for 1-micron particles. Additionally, the filter has a greater capacity to retain dust thanks to impregnation with specific oil for sponge filters, and it can be regenerated and cleaned through washing and drying.
