The Polini air filter is designed for the most common 50 cc scooters and maxi scooters, offering a significant optimization of engine performance. Made from flexible polyester-based polyurethane foam, this filter consists of two layers of sponge: a fine layer in light blue with a porosity of 60 PPI, and a more open layer in black with a porosity of 30 PPI. This configuration effectively filters out smaller particles while maintaining the filter's characteristics longer, as larger particles do not come into contact with the fine layer.

The wavy outer surface of the filter promotes greater airflow while retaining 50% more coarse dust. The filter's efficiency complies with European Standards EN779 of grade G3-G4, with a weight efficiency exceeding 90% and a capacity to retain over 50% of 1-micron particles. Additionally, the filter can be regenerated and cleaned through washing and drying, extending its lifespan.
