POLINI Voltage Regulator

The POLINI voltage regulator is designed to ensure high performance in Piaggio Vespa 50/125 engines while maintaining the use of lights. With a flywheel weighing 1.2 kg, this component allows for superior acceleration, optimizing engine response. The advance of 23 degrees at 3,500 RPM ensures smooth and responsive operation. It is essential to replace all original 6 V bulbs with 12 V bulbs to fully utilize the system's capabilities.

Installation requires the removal of the original flywheel, stator, and control unit. The new POLINI stator must be mounted on the mounting plate using TCEI M6x25 screws, ensuring that the wires pass through the designated slot. The mounting plate must be screwed to the casing with TCEI M5x14 screws and Ø5x20 washers. It is important to correctly position the advance references.

The flywheel should be mounted on the crankshaft and secured with the provided nut, while the cooling fan must be installed carefully using TBEI M5x10 screws. The wiring must be connected following specific instructions, and the ground wire must be securely connected to the casing.
