Thanks to the pre-programmed curves of the digital POLINI ignition it is possible to achieve a superior torque at low revs and cooler ignition at high revs. The 4 curves provide perfect ignition for maximum performance in the range of 7,500-12,000 revs. The extra light flywheel improves the rotation of the crankshaft. This does not improve the peak performance, but it does deliver considerable thrust and impetus from below. The analogue POLINI ignition enables the straightforward conversion of contact breaker Vespas to E-ignition. The ignition was developed for racing use, in everyday use it is an absolute power generator which provides the best supply of electrical power and light. In this context it is also necessary to upgrade the Vespa to 12V lights. CONCLUSION: a must-have for every tuned engine. The Evo increases the torque curve in the lower to middling revs range and increases the rev range of the engine.
