POLINI Ignition Vespa Px/Pe Electric Start

The POLINI ignition represents excellence for Piaggio Vespa PX 125/150/200 engines, designed to optimize performance without compromising lighting. Thanks to the flywheel weighing 1.4 kg, this ignition allows for greater acceleration, with an advance of 23 degrees at 3,500 RPM.

Its installation is simple and intuitive: it begins with mounting the fan on the flywheel using the supplied screws, followed by securing the stator to the support. The stator wires must pass through the original hole, securing the support on the crankcase. The blue wire of the original wiring needs to be cut, while the black wire will no longer be used. Next, the fast-on provided is applied to the newly cut blue wire, and the coil is secured to the original support.

The connections between the wires are crucial: the original blue wire should be connected to the white wire of the stator, while the two blue wires from the stator must be connected respectively to the coil and the green wire of the original wiring. Finally, the eyelets for the ground are applied, the wires are insulated in the original box, and the spark plug cap is connected with the rubber, tightening the flywheel to complete the installation.
