The second version is equipped with intake manifolds of ø 15 and 17-19, a reed valve, screws, and gaskets, requiring special attention during the assembly of the bearings and seals.
To ensure a correct installation, it is essential to disassemble the engine and thoroughly clean all parts to be reused, ensuring that the crankshaft and the roller cage are in excellent condition. The casings must be heated to about 250 degrees before inserting the bearings, which should fit in effortlessly. Once assembled, the reed valve and the intake manifold must be mounted precisely, while the variator assembly and ignition require careful checking of the timing and the points' opening, following the original specifications.
