The POLINI contrast spring is a fundamental component for optimizing the operation of the variator group, especially in the presence of high-performance transformation kits. The POLINI contrast springs offer an increased load compared to the standard springs: 10% for the blue spring (MaxiScooters), 7% for the white spring (Scooters 50), and 15% for the blue spring (Scooters 50). It is important to use a spring with an increased load only when strictly necessary, as the best performance is achieved with springs that allow for optimal power transmission at lower tensions.
Additionally, the spring is equipped with an EVO SLIDER system, made from a special wear-resistant and self-lubricating material, which allows for constant movement and reduces friction during the variator shifting excursion. This innovative design helps improve the efficiency and longevity of the transmission system.
