Special Price €18.10 Regular Price €21.29The POLINI contrast spring kit is an essential component for optimizing the performance of your scooter or maxi scooter. Designed to ensure proper operation of the variator group, this kit is particularly useful after the installation of high-performance transformation kits. The supplied contrast springs offer an increase in load compared to the stock springs: 10% for the blue springs intended for MaxiScooters, 7% for the white springs for 50cc scooters, and 15% for the blue springs for 50cc scooters.
The contrast spring of the rear movable half-pulley plays a crucial role in countering the movement of the pulley mounted on the crankshaft, preventing slippage of the transmission belt. It is important to note that the use of springs with increased load should be reserved for specific situations, as a spring with excessive load can compromise the efficiency of the transmission and increase belt wear.
The kit also includes the EVO SLIDER, a special wear-resistant and self-lubricating material that allows the spring to slide consistently during operation, further improving the responsiveness of the transmission system.
For proper installation, it is essential to follow the provided instructions, paying particular attention to the condition of the belt and the correct functioning of the entire variator group before proceeding with the spring replacement.
