This kit is designed to tackle the challenges that may arise after the installation of high-performance transformation kits, such as the risk of belt slippage or the inability of the rear movable pulley to counteract the movement of the pulley mounted on the crankshaft.
The springs provided in the kit offer an increased load compared to the stock springs: 10% for the blue spring (MaxiScooters), 7% for the white spring (Scooters 50), and 15% for the blue spring (Scooters 50). It is important to note that the use of springs with increased load should be limited to cases where it is truly necessary, as the best performance is achieved using springs that allow for optimal power transmission with the least possible load. Springs with higher loads can trap the belt between the pulleys, increasing wear and reducing transmission efficiency.
The kit also includes the EVO SLIDER, made from special wear-resistant and self-lubricating material, which allows the spring to slide consistently during the variator shift travel. This system improves the response and durability of the component, ensuring smooth and reliable operation.
For installation, it is necessary to disassemble the transmission cover and follow the specific mounting instructions, paying attention to the correct position of the spring and the possible replacement of the transmission belt with a Polini one, if necessary.
