The legendary 177cc iron cast cylinder has been added to the Vespa Classic product range. This cylinder is a remake of the classic version from the 1980s and 1990s and has now been spiced up with some up to date and high quality cast material. The cylinder kit has deliberately been designed to work without any modifications to the transfer ports or intake, thus making it the ideal plug-and-play cylinder for your 125cc / 150cc Vespa. Also available for 2 transfer ports models such as VNB/VBA/VBB/GL/Sprint! Conclusion: Beginner level cylinder that comes at a fair enough price. Cast iron and ideal choice for building a daily cruiser. For those who are looking for additional performance with some easy conversion work, a 24/24 SI carburettor, adjusted intake and racing crankshaft will do the trick just fine. Cast iron / 63mm bore / 5 transfer ports / 177cc Cast iron cylinder, 57mm stroke, 5 transfers, two divided side transfer ports, one transfer port opposite the outlet, piston with two piston rings, upper ring L-ring, original PINASCO cylinder head included in delivery, incl. gasket set and mounting instructions. Motor casing should - not must - be adapted to fit larger cylinder transfers. Jets and igniton should be checked and optimised. SIP-TIP: Significant performance increase possible with a racing crankshaft, racing exhaust e.g. SIP Performance, RZ or SCORPION, GRAND-SPORT piston, 28mm carburettor, electronic ignition e.g. VESPATRONIC. For all those who want to get still more performance out of this cylinder, the PINASCO definitely has some potential.
