The result of years of experience on race circuits and the most advanced CAD-CAM technologies, this new variator marks a significant evolution compared to previous generations, guaranteeing top-level performance.
Thanks to targeted work on the variator's operating range, with particular attention to short gears, it has been possible to achieve greater acceleration and responsiveness, while simultaneously improving gear shifting linearity and maintaining almost unchanged engine speed throughout all gear shifts.
The precision of Malossi engineering is reflected in the reduction of tolerances between hub and bushing, ensuring optimal operation and minimizing surface imperfections. Further improvements include an expanded gear shifting range, optimized gear shifting linearity, and the use of high-quality materials such as ground hardened steel and hard chrome for the hub.
The variator comes with two sets of rollers and two shims, allowing for precise customization of the scooter's gear shifting regime to suit the needs of every rider. Additionally, to maximize performance, it is recommended to pair it with the new X K Belt MHR (art. 6114674) belt.
