The Malossi VENTILVAR half-pulley is an essential component for improving the performance and durability of scooter transmissions. This fixed half-pulley is characterized by a diamond-cut surface on the belt sliding area and a recalculated angle to further expand the gear range.
Thanks to these features, the Malossi VENTILVAR half-pulley completes the MULTIVAR, the scooter variator, making it an unbeatable product on the market. Furthermore, it is specifically designed to improve the working conditions of the transmission belt, ensuring a longer lifespan for all transmission components.
In critical moments, extremely high temperatures are generated inside the casings where variators with trapezoidal belts operate, which can cause irreparable damage to the transmission belt and variator rollers. In some cases, the rollers may even reach the melting point.
In addition to offering all these advantages, the Malossi VENTILVAR half-pulley has superior cooling capacity compared to the original half-pulley. This result makes it an essential component for ensuring safe and sporty driving.
It should be noted that this half-pulley can be paired with both the MULTIVAR and the original variator, but in both cases, it excludes electric starting.
