The complete Malossi I-TECH 4-stroke Ø 63 aluminum cylinder is a high-quality product designed to offer exceptional performance and absolute reliability. Made with the CadCam system at the Malossi facilities in Calderara di Reno (Bologna), this enlarged cylinder follows a path of known and tested calculations and technologies to redefine the new thermo fluid-dynamic cycle, the cooling system, and structural calculations.

The characteristics of this enlarged cylinder make it ideal for obtaining formidable acceleration performance. To ensure adequate fuel supply to the engine, the additional FORCE MASTER 2 control unit has been developed with special mappings capable of optimizing carburetion. Thanks to the meticulousness of the Malossi technicians and the use of sophisticated methodologies and instrumentation, the carburetion has been defined point by point, without the engine experiencing the slightest hesitation.

The cylinder has a bore of Ø 63 mm, a stroke of 58.7 mm, and a displacement of 183. The compression ratio is 10.6:1. It is made with a primary alloy of silicon-enriched aluminum and features a barrel with silicon carbide coating in a galvanic nickel matrix and cross-grinding with two diamond passes. The processing is carried out on high-precision CNC machines, ensuring cylinder-piston couplings with a selection of 0.05 mm. The heat exchange surfaces have been recalculated and enlarged.

The piston is super compact with three segments, made with a special primary alloy of low thermal expansion silicon aluminum with tin coating on the sliding walls. The piston is also processed on CNC machines, lightened, and reinforced. The heat exchange surfaces have been enlarged.

The segments are special with high sliding and very high mechanical resistance. The first compression segment is made of nitrided and chromed steel, while the second segment is made of special cast iron. The oil scraper consists of three pieces of special alloyed and chromed steel.

The FORCE MASTER 2 control unit allows carburetion adjustment with a variation of ± 20% at minimum/medium/maximum. Furthermore, it offers a rev limiter with a 1000 RPM increase. The control unit has 4 different mappings: curve 0 for the original cylinder, curve 1 for the Malossi cylinder with original cams and original exhaust, curve 2 for the Malossi cylinder with original cams and Malossi exhaust with db-killer, and curve 3 for the Malossi cylinder with Malossi cams and Malossi exhaust with db-killer.
