The Malossi Ø 56 aluminum cylinder, with a Ø 13 piston pin, for Polini XP 4S 4-stroke (156FMI) 125cc is a high-quality and high-performance product. Made with a primary alloy of silicon-hardened aluminum, it features a barrel with a silicon carbide coating in a galvanic nickel matrix and cross-grinding with two diamond passes, ensuring very tight tolerances. Its processing is carried out on high-precision CNC machines, ensuring a selected cylinder-piston coupling with a tolerance of only 0.05 mm. The heat exchange surfaces have been recalculated and increased, guaranteeing excellent heat dissipation.
The piston, super compact with three segments, is made with a special primary alloy of low thermal expansion silicon aluminum, with a tin coating on the sliding walls. The piston is also machined on CNC machines, resulting in a lighter and reinforced design. The heat exchange surfaces have been increased, allowing for effective heat dissipation.
The segments are special, with high sliding and very high mechanical resistance. The first compression segment is made of nitrided and chromed steel, while the second segment is made of special cast iron. The oil scraper consists of three pieces of special alloyed and chromed steel.
