The cast iron cylinder is made with special self-lubricating and anti-wear alloys, obtained through gravity casting with Shell Moulding forming process. The processing is carried out on high-precision CNC machines, ensuring recalculated heat exchange surfaces and exhaust and transfer ports designed for maximum thermodynamic efficiency. Dimensional shape and roughness checks are carried out, ensuring a precise 100% piston-cylinder coupling and complete hydraulic seal control.

The aluminum cylinder, obtained through gravity casting in specific steel shells, is made with a primary alloy of bonified and stabilized high-silicon aluminum. Once again, the processing is carried out on high-precision CNC machines, with a barrel with silicon carbide overlay in a galvanic nickel matrix and cross-grinding with diamond passes with very tight tolerances. The heat exchange surfaces are recalculated and the exhaust and transfer ports are designed for maximum thermodynamic efficiency. Dimensional shape and roughness checks are also performed, with a precisely selected piston-cylinder coupling and 100% hydraulic seal control.

The piston is made with a special alloy of high-silicon aluminum and low thermal expansion. The processing is carried out on CNC machines, lightening and reinforcing the piston and increasing the heat exchange surfaces.

The rings are made of high-strength spheroidal cast iron, with a hard chrome overlay on the contact surface, rectified and lapped.

The cylinder head of the cylinder kit is made with a special die-cast aluminum alloy. The geometries of the heat exchange surfaces are recalculated and increased for air-cooled models, while the sections and paths of the cooling circuits are recalculated and resized for liquid-cooled models. The processing is carried out on super-precise CNC machines with diamond tools, and an anti-oxidation surface treatment is applied.

For the proper functioning of the kit, it is necessary to use the supplied control unit and replace the primary gears with Malossi HTQ gears, while keeping the original or specific Malossi exhaust.
