The Malossi I-TECH Ø 47 cast iron cylinder kit is an innovative product that combines experience and technology to offer exceptional performance. This two-stroke injection engine has been specially designed for competitions, meeting the expectations of riders participating in the Malossi Trophies for 70cc scooters.

The cast iron cylinder is made from special self-lubricating and anti-wear alloys, obtained through gravity casting with Shell Moulding forming process. The machining is carried out on high-precision CNC machines, ensuring recalculated heat exchange surfaces and exhaust and transfer ports designed to maximize thermodynamic efficiency. Dimensional checks of shape and roughness are carried out, ensuring a 100% piston-cylinder coupling and complete control of hydraulic seals.

The aluminum cylinder, obtained through gravity casting in specific steel shells, is made from a primary alloy of silicon-enriched and stabilized aluminum. Once again, machining is carried out on high-precision CNC machines, with silicon carbide deposition on the barrel and cross-grinding with diamond passes. The heat exchange surfaces are recalculated and the exhaust and transfer ports are designed to maximize thermodynamic efficiency. Dimensional checks of shape and roughness are carried out, ensuring precise piston-cylinder coupling and complete control of hydraulic seals.

The piston is made from a special alloy of silicon-enriched aluminum with low thermal expansion. The machining is carried out on CNC machines, lightening and reinforcing the piston and increasing the heat exchange surfaces.

The rings are made from high-strength spheroidal graphite cast iron, with a hard chrome coating on the contact surface that is ground and lapped.

The cylinder head of the cylinder kit is made from a special die-cast aluminum alloy, with recalculated and enlarged heat exchange surface geometry. The machining is carried out on super-precise CNC machines with diamond tools, ensuring an antioxidant surface treatment.

For the correct operation of the kit, it is necessary to use the supplied control unit and replace the primary gears with Malossi HTQ gears, while keeping the original exhaust or using a specific Malossi exhaust.
