The Malossi MHR 50cc aluminum cylinder kit is a high-quality and high-performance product, ideal for competition enthusiasts.
The cylinder is made with a special alloy of aluminum with a high percentage of silicon and titanium, which guarantees an indeformable resistance to high temperatures.
Thanks to a special heat treatment, the cylinder maintains constant mechanical and dimensional characteristics up to temperatures of 250°C.
The machining operations, carried out with numerical control machines, ensure very precise dimensional and shape tolerances.
The internal surface of the cylinder is coated with silicon carbides on a nickel matrix, heat-treated to guarantee a very high hardness and superior wear resistance.
The exhaust and transfer diagrams have been specifically designed and made for competition, with the use of expert technicians and tests on static engine test benches and race tracks.
The piston is made with a special alloy with a high percentage of silicon, which guarantees high resistance to high temperatures and a reinforced structure to withstand the stresses imposed by competitions.
The external coating in tin minimizes the coefficient of friction.
The piston ring is made of 1mm spheroidal graphite cast iron with a hard chrome overlay on the outer surface.
The rings are made of high-strength spheroidal graphite cast iron, with a rectified and lapped hard chrome anti-wear overlay on the contact surface.
The cylinder head of the cylinder kit is made with a special alloy of aluminum with a high coefficient of heat exchange.
The heat exchange surfaces have been recalculated and increased, while the combustion chamber has been completely redesigned for a high compression ratio and optimal turbulence.
The machining of the cylinder head is carried out on numerical control machines.
