As a 'Carbonio' with reed valve plates made from carbon, which allow a higher intake volume and offer an optimum flutter behaviour. And as 'Carbonite' with plates made from specially coated fibre glass. These offer a heavier flutter behaviour than carbon plates but their coating means they are extremely break-resistant, open progressively and close again very quickly. Thanks to the rubber sealing lip the MALOSSI MHR VL17 reed valve block is very low wear and is great for touring engines when fitted with carbon plates. For high rev cylinders with both the VL6 and the VL17 block a stuffer is included in the scope of supply to optimise the in-rushing mix.
