The new Malossi primary transmission for the Vespa small frame is a high-quality product designed to ensure maximum efficiency and performance on the road. The clutch bell, made of special solid steel, is equipped with six housing slots for the clutch discs, all active and designed to lock the discs. This minimizes mechanical play, vibrations, and wear on the clutch basket and guide teeth of the discs.

The primary transmission is fully disassemblable to access the clutch springs and change them. It is possible to use different sets of springs to customize the response of the clutch in accordance with different applications and preferences.

The attention to detail is also evident in the coupling screws between the bell and gear, specifically designed for this mechanism. The Malossi primary transmission is highly customizable, available in two different gear ratios to adapt to the different needs of the engines: one for smoother modifications and another for more powerful engines.
