The Malossi forged 4-stroke pistons with enlarged Ø 66.2, Ø 15 wrist pin, and 3 rectangular segments are ideal for your original cylinder. These pistons are made from a special aluminum alloy (copper sil.) that makes them both durable and lightweight. The shaped crown with valve imprint and racing design add a touch of style to your engine.
The pistons are reinforced and lightened, with constant thickness, to ensure optimal performance. The segments consist of a 1st compression ring in chrome-plated steel, a 2nd oil scraper ring in phosphated steel, and a 3rd oil control ring with 2 chrome-plated steel rings and a spring. This combination ensures high compression and effective lubrication.
The standard selection of pistons allows for replacing only the piston without making modifications to the cylinders. It is important to check in advance that the cylinder bore is not damaged, ovalized, or scratched. If the bore is not in compliance, it is possible to use the enlarged pistons after properly honing it, following the measurements indicated in the table.
