The Malossi TC UNIT RPM CONTROL K15 electronic control unit is a high-tech product designed for road and competition scooters. This control unit offers the latest technology in the motorcycle electronics sector.
Each control unit model has been specifically designed for the type of scooter it will be installed on. After numerous tests on static benches, roller benches, and race circuits, an optimal ignition mapping has been defined to achieve maximum performance from the vehicle.
The Malossi electronic control unit is designed for easy installation, as it is interchangeable with the stock control unit. It is compact and ergonomic and connects perfectly to the original connectors.
In addition, the Malossi control unit allows you to remove the rev limiter present on the stock control unit, allowing you to fully exploit the power and torque of the engine even at higher speeds up to 20,000 rpm.
The Malossi control unit uses capacitive discharge to minimize the emission of disturbances during voltage discharge. It delivers an almost perfect voltage peak to the ignition spark plug (35,000 - 50,000 volts depending on the engine speed) and offers high and constant discharge voltages and currents as the engine speed varies.
This control unit is equipped with a microswitch that can be positioned anywhere on the vehicle, which activates the engine rev limiter. The engine speed at which the rev limiter intervenes can be adjusted according to the type of engine.
To adjust the speed at which the rev limiter intervenes, referring to the vehicle's speedometer, you can act on the micro potentiometer present on the control unit to adapt the intervention point of the limiter. The adjustment potentiometer is very sensitive, so it is necessary to make small rotations until reaching the appropriate limiter insertion point for your scooter.
