The Malossi TC UNIT RPM CONTROL electronic control unit is the result of continuous evolution in the field of engine electronics. This complete line of electronic control units has been designed and marketed by Malossi for both road and competition scooters, offering the highest technology available on the market. Each control unit model has been specifically designed for the type of scooter it will be installed on, and after countless tests on static benches, roller benches, and race circuits, an optimal ignition mapping has been defined to achieve the best performance from the vehicle.

Malossi electronic control units are designed to guarantee a simple and intuitive installation, as they are interchangeable with stock control units. Compact and ergonomic, they connect perfectly to the original connectors. Furthermore, Malossi control units allow the removal of the rev limiter present on stock control units, allowing the maximum utilization of the engine's power and torque even at higher speeds, up to 20,000 RPM.

Malossi control units use capacitive discharge technology, which allows for the maximum limitation of disturbances during voltage discharge. Additionally, they provide a nearly perfect voltage peak on the ignition spark plug, with values ranging from 35,000 to 50,000 volts depending on the engine speed. Thanks to this, they offer extremely high and constant discharge voltages and currents, even with varying engine speeds.

These control units are equipped with a microswitch, which can be positioned anywhere on the vehicle to activate the engine's rev limiter. The RPM at which the limiter intervenes can be adjusted based on the type of engine. To adjust the speed at which the limiter comes into action, it is possible to act on the micropotentiometer present on the control unit, adapting the limiter's intervention point. The adjustment potentiometer is very sensitive, so it is necessary to make small rotations until reaching the appropriate limiter activation point for your scooter.
