Malossi Double Power Camshaft Pair

The Malossi DOUBLE POWER CAM camshaft is an essential component of the 4-stroke engine when it comes to distribution. This camshaft is responsible for opening and closing the intake valves for fuel intake into the combustion chamber, as well as opening and closing the exhaust valves for the evacuation of exhaust gases.

The Double Power Camshafts by Malossi have been specifically developed to achieve an optimal and progressive increase in power, both when combined with an original cylinder and when combined with an enlarged 560 cc twin-cylinder. These camshafts are suitable for both carbureted and electronically fuel-injected vehicles, offering significantly improved power curves for both first and second series models.

The Double Power Camshafts by Malossi are the result of a long design and testing process in the test room. The industrial production of these camshafts strictly followed the specifications imposed by the technical office, from the choice of materials to the processing with precision machinery, to the thermochemical treatments, tests, and assembly.

The technical characteristics of this product include a camshaft for the control of the intake valves and a camshaft for the control of the exhaust valves. Both camshafts are made of superalloy steel, cemented, tempered, nitrided, and ground, with recalculated, enlarged, and reprofiled lobes.
