The Malossi WHOOP DISC brake disc is designed to offer excellent performance. With an outer diameter of 220 mm and a thickness of 4 mm, this disc is lightweight, stainless, deformation-resistant, and stress-resistant. It has been specially designed to withstand prolonged use in any weather conditions and type of terrain.
The WHOOP DISC has undergone numerous tests, both during competitions and on particularly challenging routes, in order to allow Malossi technicians to develop a range of brake discs suitable for the most common vehicles. When paired with the Malossi BRAKE PADS range, the WHOOP DISC ensures progressive and safe braking until the vehicle comes to a complete stop, even after hours of use.
This brake disc is made of stainless steel, with laser processing, heat-treated, and rectified. Its profile, defined in CAD, has been calculated to completely shave the surface of the friction material, discharge dust, and evacuate water and mud during braking. Furthermore, the heat dissipation surface is doubled, allowing the operating temperature of the brake disc to remain low.
