The Malossi Ø 15x19 inclined intake manifold is an essential component for the proper functioning of the engine. This intake manifold allows the air-fuel mixture to access the engine through the reed valve.

The overall performance of the engine depends on various factors, including volumetric, thermodynamic, and mechanical efficiency. Volumetric efficiency represents the ratio between the amount of mixture introduced into the combustion chamber and the engine displacement. The friction loss that occurs during the passage of the mixture from the air filter to the combustion chamber significantly affects volumetric efficiency.

The intake manifold plays a fundamental role in reducing these losses, ensuring a smooth and unobstructed flow along the mixture path. Additionally, the manifold acts as a fresh charge accumulator, allowing the mixture to compress against the reeds when the reed valve closes.
