The Malossi Ø 32x44 straight intake manifold is an essential component for optimizing the performance of your engine. Thanks to its composite structure, made with an aluminum insert embedded in a plastic material resistant to oils and gasoline, it offers remarkable rigidity in the base for attachment to the crankcase and good elasticity of the manifold body.

One of the main characteristics of this manifold is its design specifically studied to minimize friction losses during the passage of the air-fuel mixture. This allows maximizing the volumetric efficiency of the engine, which is the ratio between the amount of mixture introduced into the combustion chamber and the engine displacement. Furthermore, the manifold acts as an accumulator of fresh charge, allowing the mixture to compress against the reeds and ensuring better performance.

In addition to improving volumetric efficiency, the Malossi intake manifold also plays an important role in connecting the carburetor to the engine crankcase or cylinder. Thanks to its structure, it is able to dampen the vibrations transmitted from the crankcase to the carburetor, avoiding the phenomenon of fuel and air emulsion in the carburetor float chamber.
