The Malossi RS3 front shock absorber, with a 195 mm wheelbase, is specifically designed for scooters and mopeds, ensuring optimal performance and long-lasting durability thanks to the use of high-quality materials.
Its very low friction coefficient ensures a smooth and comfortable ride on the road.
This oleopneumatic shock absorber features a 12 mm rod made of hardened C43 steel, a steel and sintered bronze piston, and a new lamellar system made of Swedish steel.
The piston guide shoe is made with the LUBRIFLON-PTFE B70 compound, loaded with bronze to ensure greater strength.
The sliding is done on a DU GUIDE bushing, obtained through the sintering of a layer of spheroidal bronze on a mild steel strip, properly pressed and impregnated with a mixture of PTFE+FB.
The scraper ring is made of SEALTHANE polyester resin grade 9345.
The micrometric adjustment of the spring preload is done through rings, allowing you to customize the shock absorber according to your needs.
The special oil used has a low viscosity and is practically unaffected by temperature variations.
