The Malossi internal rotor ignition for 4-stroke Pit Bikes is a technologically advanced product that solves performance issues with stock flywheel-ignition groups. This ignition is equipped with a variable advance control unit, which ensures consistent performance up to 16,000 RPM, surpassing the limits of stock ignition groups. The control unit is controlled by a microprocessor and utilizes S.M.T. assembly technology.
The high voltage coil is characterized by capacitive discharge and offers exceptional efficiency. The discharge voltage remains constant at 30,000 volts up to 20,000 RPM.
The rotor-stator group is composed of an internal rotor with permanent magnets with a diameter of 58 mm, which has been dynamically balanced to ensure low energy consumption. The stator is a sealed current generator with insulating and waterproof resin, offering anti-shock protection.
In addition, the ignition is equipped with an additional non-magnetic stainless steel inertia flywheel with a diameter of 94.5 mm. This component helps improve stability and efficiency of the ignition.
It is important to note that with this type of ignition, the vehicle's electrical system is excluded.
