The Malossi MHR TEAM crankshaft is a high-quality component. This crankshaft is equipped with a 13 mm diameter piston pin, a 90 mm connecting rod, and a 42.3 mm stroke.
The crankshaft is considered the heart of the internal combustion engine, and the engine's performance depends imperatively on its quality. Malossi exclusively produces first-class crankshafts, using high-quality materials such as 18 Ni Cr Mo5 for the crankshaft halves.
The crankshaft halves and rotating masses are monolithic and forged, ensuring greater strength. The machining is carried out on highly precise machine tools, and all components undergo five heat treatments.
The surface finish is of high quality, improving the reliability of the product. Additionally, the crankshaft has undergone dynamic balancing up to 16,000 RPM.
The connecting rod is forged in 18 Ni Cr Mo5 bronze and coupled to the crankshaft with a precision roller bearing, ideal for high speeds.
