Malossi MHR TEAM Crankshaft 12-13 Pin 85 Rod 39.3 Piaggio

The Malossi MHR TEAM crankshaft is a high-quality component. Equipped with a pin with a diameter of 12-13 mm, an 85 mm connecting rod, and a stroke of 39.3 mm, this crankshaft is the heart of the internal combustion engine.

Its presence is essential for achieving high performance and reliability. Malossi exclusively produces first-class crankshafts, using high-quality materials such as 18 Ni Cr Mo5 for the half-shafts. These half-shafts and rotating masses are monolithic and forged, ensuring greater strength. The machining is carried out on highly precise machine tools, and each component undergoes five heat treatments.

In addition, the high surface finish contributes to improving product reliability. The crankshaft has undergone dynamic balancing up to 16,000 rpm, ensuring smooth and vibration-free operation. The connecting rod, made of 18 Ni Cr Mo5 bronze, is coupled to the crankshaft through a precision roller bearing, ideal for high speeds.
