The Malossi MHR TEAM crankshaft is an essential component for the internal combustion engine. Its main characteristics are:
- Piston pin with a diameter of 12-13 mm
- Connecting rod with a length of 85 mm and a stroke of 39.3 mm
The quality of the crankshaft is fundamental to achieve high performance and reliability in the engine. Malossi produces first-class crankshafts, using high-quality materials such as 18 Ni Cr Mo5 for the half-shafts and forged monolithic rotating masses. The processing is carried out on highly precise machine tools and all components undergo five heat treatments. The surface finish is particularly well-cared for to ensure greater reliability.
The crankshaft is equipped with dynamic balancing up to 16,000 rpm. The connecting rod is forged in 18 Ni Cr Mo5 and coupled to the crankshaft through a precision roller bearing for high speeds.
It is important to note that crankshafts 5314548 and 5315973 must be exclusively installed with the MULTIVAR 5112800 and 5115823.
