The Malossi RHQ crankshaft is designed for scooters and features a 10mm diameter piston pin and a stroke of 37.4mm.
This component is considered the heart of the internal combustion engine and all engine performance depends on it.
Malossi exclusively produces high-quality crankshafts that guarantee high efficiency and reliability.
The half-shafts are made of 18 Ni Cr Mo5 material, while the rotating masses are monolithic and forged.
All machining is carried out on highly precise machine tools and each component undergoes five heat treatments.
The surface finish is of high quality to improve reliability.
The crankshaft undergoes dynamic balancing up to 16,000 rpm.
The connecting rod is forged in 18 Ni Cr Mo5 copper-plated and coupled to the crankshaft by means of a precision roller bearing, ideal for high speeds.
