This crankcase is supplied with all the necessary components for installation and offers maximum interchangeability with components available on the market.
It can be used for a complete restoration without requiring modifications to the vehicle and adapting to all original Piaggio parts, as well as for a simple engine refresh with moderate tuning.
It is compatible with the original Dell'Orto Si 24-24 carburetor and can be installed with the original crankshaft or with the rotary valve crankshaft.
Its intake has been revised and improved thanks to modern CAD systems, which have optimized the intake duct in the crankcase.
The V-One and VR-One crankcases are the result of Malossi's project, study, research, and production, which aims to pay homage to Vespa PX200E enthusiasts.
Both models offer the possibility to customize the vehicle according to individual needs.
The crankcases are made of a high-quality lightweight aluminum alloy and are precision machined using advanced technologies.
They feature characteristics such as a reinforced front arm for better strength, and pins for brake shoes and gear selector.
In addition, both versions are equipped with front Silent Blocks and rear anti-vibration for easy and complete installation.
Fluid dynamics have been improved thanks to profiled transfer ports designed to perfectly match Ø 68.5 cylinders without requiring modifications to the crankcase.
The problem of oil leakage has been solved through various solutions, such as increasing the walls of the pump crankcase and using M8 captive screws.
In addition, the crankcase gasket has been eliminated and the crankcases are sealed with high-temperature resistant gasket sealant.
Malossi has also solved the problem of crankcase clamping system by eliminating nuts and creating threaded holes and seats in the crankcase for more convenient and secure clamping.
