This crankcase has the same installation characteristics as the V-One and the same cylinder housing options.
It is designed to withstand higher powers and comes with ball bearing crankshaft bearings that offer increased radial load capacity and additional resistance to axial loads.
Dedicated oil seals are also provided.
This crankcase is perfect for mounting with the MHR single-face cylinders, especially with the 60cc racing kit.
The Malossi full-shoulder 60cc crankshaft is the ideal match for this configuration, provided with the proper balancing and perfect for the reed valve intake system designed for the new VR-One.
The reed valve intake system is the biggest innovation of this crankcase, which guarantees an increase in power at all operating speeds and allows reaching higher RPMs.
The reed valve assembly consists of a die-cast valve seat, coupled to the crankcase with a seal guaranteed by a special gasket, and a completely new reed valve equipped with a multi-profile diffuser.
The intake manifold is designed using the X360 technique used in competitions, and the sleeve has a 30mm inlet diameter.
This crankcase has been manufactured with the utmost precision and mechanical strength thanks to gravity die-casting and the use of modern shell moulding cores.
It is made of a high-quality lightweight aluminum alloy, and all contact and sealing surfaces have been machined with diamond tools to ensure very low surface roughness values and practically perfect fits.
The VR-One crankcase is equipped with a reinforced front arm with stress relief ribs and sections with a calculated profile to ensure better strength.
It also features pins for brake shoes and M7 studs for mounting the gear selector.
The crankcase assembly does not require the purchase of any additional components, as it is equipped with front Silent Blocks in the connecting arm to the frame and a rear anti-vibration device connecting to the shock absorber.
Thanks to the properly profiled and sized transfer ports, this crankcase offers increased performance even with different cylinder kits.
The problem of oil leakage from the crankcase has also been solved thanks to the increased thickness of the pump housing walls, the use of M8 studs, and the high-precision machining of the sealing surfaces.
The crankcase gasket has been eliminated, and the crankcases are closed using a high-temperature resistant gasket sealant.
The crankcase clamping system has been improved by eliminating nuts and creating threads in the left crankcase and seats in the right side.
This makes assembly and disassembly of components easier and more practical.
