Special Price โฌ536.30 Regular Price โฌ670.33The complete Malossi MHR RC-ONE engine crankcase for Yamaha engines has been designed with the aim of creating the most innovative racing component for scooters ever existed. This crankcase is compatible with all scooters that have the Yamaha Minarelli LC 50 cc engine as original equipment.
Thanks to the RC-ONE Yamaha-Minarelli platform, Malossi has managed to completely unify technical solutions and external and internal dimensions with all RC-ONE models. Malossi RC-ONE crankcases have been designed to exclusively use the Flanged Mount family of 94 cubic centimeter thermal groups with flange and external studs.
The generous dimensions of the pump crankcase allow for the accommodation of high-capacity engine shafts and cylinders. Furthermore, Malossi RC-ONE uses the same transmissions on both Piaggio and Yamaha/Minarelli scooters, unifying two worlds to enhance and enhance the strongest elements of both.
RC-ONE for Yamaha has been designed to be completely Plug&Play for all scooters equipped with Yamaha/Minarelli 50 cubic centimeter liquid-cooled engines. It does not require modifications to the frame and can accommodate the entire range of Malossi products intended for the RC-ONE range, representing a revolutionary solution for the development of racing components for all scooters.
The technique used for the cylinder base, inclined 10ยฐ compared to the original shaft-gear axis, has allowed the engine attachments to be positioned in front of the fuel system, eliminating one of the problems of standard Yamaha/Minarelli crankcases. A modification to the underseat compartment is required.
The base of RC-ONE Yamaha has been designed to accommodate only Malossi cylinders with flange and external studs from the MHR ร52 Flanged Mount red head family. This solution offers advantages that open the doors to the possibility of designing completely new cylinders.
The seat intended to accommodate the reed valve has been modified thanks to modern three-dimensional fluid dynamics simulation software, allowing Malossi technicians to find the ideal dimensions and dimensions.
The automatic mixer and the mechanical water pump have been eliminated to minimize leaks and the installation of the Malossi internal rotor ignition has been prepared.
On the cycling side, RC-ONE for Yamaha is intended for scooters equipped as standard with rear disc brakes and does not provide for the alternative use of shoes. The wheelbase has been increased, improving stability and precision in corners, while the gear compartment has been reduced in size, overlapping the gears.
The increase in wheelbase and internal diameters has made it necessary to use the starter cover intended for Piaggio scooters. The RC-ONE crankcases for Yamaha are supplied complete with the necessary components for installation, including reed valve, covers, and a special wheel pin to use the original rear wheel.
An optional special rear fender is available to protect and keep the carburetor clean, now positioned at the rear.
The new crankcases have been studied and manufactured in Calderara di Reno at the Malossi headquarters, one of the most advanced research, development, and production centers for special parts for engines and scooters.
