Malossi PHM 40 ND Dell'Orto 4842 Carburetor

The Malossi PHM 40 ND carburetor is an ideal product for motorcycles with 300-750cc 4-stroke engines. Thanks to its venturi with a diameter of 38, 40 or 41mm, it offers optimal performance.

One of its main features is the cylindrical throttle valve, which guarantees smooth and powerful acceleration. In addition, it has an independent circuit starting device or a choke button, which facilitates engine starting.

The idle system, with a jet and mixture adjustment screw, allows for precise and personalized adjustment. The full throttle system, on the other hand, offers the possibility of mechanically adjusting the mixture with a conical needle.

This carburetor is available in different versions, some with idle adjustment screws on the right and/or left, to adapt to the needs of every motorcyclist. Furthermore, some versions are equipped with a membrane recovery pump with mechanical control, for an even faster throttle response.

The carburetor float bowl offers the possibility of mounting independent floats, ensuring optimal operation. The sleeve attachment with insulating reduction from Ø 48 to Ø 45 and the Ø 46 elastic mounting attachment ensure simple and secure installation.

Finally, the air intake attachment Ø 52 and 83 or M52 x 1.25 allows for the installation of air horns and fittings for further customization of the intake system.
