JMT Design's lithium-ion batteries are fresh, modern, and high-tech for your motorcycle.

Spacer (S) The battery comes with one or more spacers that are glued under the battery with the included adhesive strip, so that the battery fits exactly in the battery compartment. Waterproof (W) The battery is completely waterproof and is not damaged during high-pressure cleaning of the motorcycle.

Indicator (I) All batteries are equipped with a battery status indicator. Just press the test button. The red digital display shows the current voltage. The battery should be charged no later than when the voltage is below 12.9 V.

Replacing a standard lead battery with a JMT lithium-ion battery allows you to save up to 5 kg in weight without significant effort.

The following advantages speak in favor of JMT lithium-ion batteries: - about 1/3 the weight of a comparable lead battery.

Due to their specific characteristics, lead batteries can only use 30% of their capacity, while lithium-ion batteries can use almost 100% of their capacity.

For this reason, the lithium versions of JMT batteries require only 1/3 of the capacity of a comparable lead battery for the same starting power. An integrated processor ('balancer') also ensures a uniform charge state for all cells.

The dimensions of the lithium batteries correspond to those of the original lead batteries with the help of adapters. The connections are also identical, allowing the battery to be replaced in a few minutes without further adjustments.

Please note that only suitable chargers can be used for charging.

It is recommended to use JMP chargers. For the recommended maximum charge currents, please refer to the technical data provided below. The use of a charger with a voltage higher than 14.9 V to charge a deeply discharged battery with a voltage below 9.6 V is not permitted.

The manufacturer guarantees sufficient starting capacity down to -5 degrees Celsius.

Technology JMT lithium-ion batteries use iron phosphate (LiFePO4) as the cathode material and utilize the lithium polymer process for their production. This means they cannot catch fire or explode during normal operation. The technology and production process ensure the highest safety standards for lithium batteries.
